Supervisory Skills Series
Growing a vibrant organization isn't an easy task. Frankly, it's quite daunting. Building a strong, efficient business isn't accomplished by the work of just one person; in fact it takes the entire team. That's why it's so important to have strong leaders in management positions as well as having leaders in all positions within the company. Perhaps you have committed and productive people who would make great leaders, but may not have the skills. The Supervisory Leadership Series' training program is designed to be a classroom / workplace training program. Participants of the program are in training two days per month and bring the skills they learn to the workplace. Bosses, or coaches as we call them, are involved in the training so that progress can be tracked and discussed. The training not only improves productivity and efficiency, but also helps retain employees. Event Description: This 10-session series connects first-line leadership skills to business performance. It covers the major skils needed to lead and manage a work group and provides supervisors and managers with the fundamental people leadership knowledge to be successful in today's world of business operations.

Dale Carnegie Training
Forward Janesville continues to sponsor the Dale Carnegie Course, which is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in the area. The Dale Carnegie Course helps people deliver the breakthrough performances that drive success in today’s ever-more competitive – and demanding- world. Put simply, Dale Carnegie Training® equips people to improve results in their personal lives, as well as in the companies where they work. Our training has a two-fold purpose: 1) To develop new attitudes and behaviors. 2) To reinforce new knowledge and skills through practice in real-world situations.

Learn to strengthen interpersonal relationships, manage stress and handle fast-changing workplace conditions. Be better equipped to perform as a persuasive communicator, problem-solver and focused leader. Develop a take-charge attitude initiated with confidence and enthusiasm. The training emphasizes the principles of success and shows people how to put them into action every day. At the end of this program, participants will have a solid foundation for lifelong professional and personal growth and performance improvement.
