EDUCATION IDEAS Minimize
Build a four-year college
Build better relationships b/w biz & edu communities to stimulate future employees early
Businesses should use interns from local schools -- it may keep students in Janesville
Coordinate with Blackhawk Technical College to place students
Create curriculum at all levels to address gaps in the area skill set
Educate students about life skills and careers
Emphasize ethics programs in schools
Encourage UW-Rock to add four-year degree programs
Enhance agricultural education programs
Enhance the relationship between the school district and the community
Enhance the UW-Rock engineering program
Establish a B.S. in nursing program at BTC or UW-Rock
Establish a four-year university in Janesville
