Nearly 200 residents attended the Janesville Community Brainstorming Session, and were asked to give their thoughts on the following question: what Janesville can do in the coming 24 months to improve the local business climate and attract new business investment?  This question generated nearly 400 ideas.

To make the data more manageable, the ideas were broken into eleven categories: community; downtown; economic development; education; energy; the environment; government; labor and the workforce; regionalism; tourism; and transportation.
