Member Connect
New in 2025: Double the Member Connect! Previously a monthly email, this email will now be delivered on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
This is our members’ opportunity to share their events, fundraisers and news with other members.
Deadline: Submit your items for Member Connect to [email protected] by the Friday before the newsletter is delivered (the first or third Friday of each month).
Content Frequency: Members are invited to share their content in Member Connect no more than once per month.
Content: Member Connect submissions should include items that are above and beyond the day-to-day of your business. We aim to celebrate and drive traffic to our member businesses, but the intent of Member Connect is not to be a sales page like the newspaper classifieds section or a Facebook Marketplace.
Submissions should include: a digital graphic, preferably in JPG or PNG format (see the below example); a link that takes the reader to a webpage where they can learn more, sign up, etc.; and any other pertinent information.
Member Connect content can include but is not limited to: major upcoming events; fundraisers that support your organization or are a collaboration with other FJ members; special promotional opportunities; significant news or awards won that might typically be announced in a press release. Member Connect items should not include items like: weekly or monthly sale items; real estate open houses; sponsorship opportunities; equipment or other items being listed for sale by a business; etc.

Pulse
The Pulse is curated by Forward Janesville staff, though members are encouraged to submit items if they want to ensure it has been seen by the FJ team.
For instance, if you are coordinating an event or workshop that could be beneficial to businesses, or if you have been made aware of a grant opportunity that could be a benefit to your fellow business leaders, send it to [email protected]
