Government works best when citizens participate. Forward Janesville and our Government Relations Council (GRC) are focused on civic engagement at the local level. We play an educational role in helping our members and the community learn about the candidates running for non-partisan offices in the spring election cycle, particularly through our Candidate Q&As. Now that the election is over and we have two (2) new faces on the Janesville City Council and two (2) new faces on the Janesville School Board, use the Candidate Q&As to get a feel for the newcomers and their perspectives on key issues facing our city and schools.
We also provide general voting information and Janesville-specific voting information to make particpating in elections as easy as possible. Forward Janesville does not endorse candidates. Want to learn more about why local government matters? Read our "Forward Thinking" column in The Janesville Gazette.
Updates to this page will be frequent as the election cycle progresses. Check back often for new information and resources. Last update 4/2/25.
